With fall quickly approaching, this outfit is a prime example of what I’ll be wearing most of the time, in a season where it’s not quite warm enough for light shorts and crops, yet not quite cold enough for sleeves and jeans. The outfit I wore to this event presented quite a geometrical vibe with various of cut outs, patterns and lines!
For shoes I wore metallic silver heels from Steve Madden with a classic pointed toe. The cool tone was perfectly complimentary to the cool tones in my culottes (from Sabo Skirt). Culottes are known as ‘the silhouette of the season’ they’re easy-to-wear, accessible, and can turn any outfit from casual to chic or vice versa. They are a key piece in my wardrobe this season! The modesty of the culottes had to be contrasted with an elegant, statement top. The crisp cut out of this top honoured the flowing feel the culottes give off.
I decided to opt for camel nails to remain neutral, along with a few dainty pieces of jewelry and a black caged cross body bag (from Nasty Gal) to let the clothes be the star of the show. Likewise, I put my hair in a high ponytail to show off the details of my crop.
